Upon arriving at the hotel in the center of town, I found a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were fresh and clean, but the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. The service, particularly from Tim on reception and Alison in the breakfast room, was exceptional, making me feel at home as a solo traveler. Moreover, the location was great for exploring Scarborough seafront and the town center. While the dining experience was decent and the breakfast hot and plentiful, the facilities overall were lacking. Despite paying for breakfast, the quality did not fully meet expectations.
